About Novum PKC
Novum PKC is a series of high performance PEEK composites from ISMAT. Each material in this series has its own set of fillers (carbon, glass, PTFE, etc.) which gives it characteristics ideal for specific applications.
WHAT IS PEEK COMPOSITE?
PEEK (Poly Ester Ester Ketone / Novum PK) is among the most capable engineering plastics in the world and finds applications in a variety of industries. Just like with PTFEs, reinforcing PEEK with suitable fillers can help enhance certain properties, creating PEEK Composites that are uniquely suitable for certain applications. Adding carbon and glass fiber reinforcements can, for example, increase the creep and fatigue resistance of virgin PEEK.
