ISMAT leverages Cerulean N 12 copolymer Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) variants to deliver superior compression set performance and oil resistance through NBR O-rings, NBR X-rings, NBR hoses, NBR pumps and custom molded parts for demanding industrial applications. The copolymer NBR elastomer formulation provides 60±5 Shore A hardness, 13.8 MPa minimum tensile strength, 300% minimum elongation at break, 1.7 MPa modulus at 100% elongation, ≤20% compression set (70hrs@100°C plied discs), ≤20-30% compression set on O-rings (size-dependent, 70hrs@100°C), pass low-temp brittleness at -40°C, higher resistance to wide range of oils, excellent hydrocarbon solvent resistance, good chemical resistance and operating temperatures from -40°C to +125°C with exceptional mechanical reliability.
