The Vertex A series of Tetrafluoroethylene propylene (FEPM), a high-performance elastomer material, combines high chemical and temperature resistance. Like other fluoroelastomers, it is resistant to various chemicals, including acids, bases, ozone, oxidisers, corrosion inhibitors, (hydraulic) oils, phosphate esters, alcohols, and hot water/steam.
This elastomer material can produce durable and precise rubber seals, and gaskets, which can be widely used in the chemical, automotive, aerospace, and oil & gas industries.
Tetrafluoroethylene propylene (FEPM or TFE/P or AFLAS®) is a high-performance elastomer composed of tetrafluoroethylene and propylene. FEPM O-rings and seals are widely used in the Automotive industries because of their excellent all-round chemical resistance to Engine Oils & Auto Transmission Fluids.
These rubber gaskets and seals offer unmatched durability and reliability in demanding environments. However, it is important to note that FEPM sealing solutions are not compatible with chlorinated and aromatic hydrocarbons and some common solvents like acetone.
