Vertex H

HNBR Seals

About Vertex H

The Vertex H series of HNBRs (Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber), an elastomer material, are designed to meet across various sectors like Oil and Gas, Chemical, Energy, Aerospace, and more.

High-performance elastomers in this range have received industry-leading certifications like NORSOK M-710 Edition 3 for Rapid Gas Decompression (RGD), NACE TM0192 for CO2 Decompression Environments, and other certifications for O-rings and seals.

WHAT ARE HNBR SEALS?

HNBR Seals are created by the hydrogenation of NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber). It is an elastomer material demonstrating comparatively higher heat resistance and wear behavior in dynamic applications. They are used in applications where the temperature ranges from -52°C to +160°.
Some special HNBR seals are also suitable for RGD applications.

HNBR rubber seals and gaskets are used in applications requiring high chemical and temperature resistance, such as in automobiles, oil & gas, Chemical and Aerospace industries.
