Cerulean EP 21

Cerulean EP 21: High-Elongation Terpolymer EPDM for Weather Applications

Cerulean EP 21 is a terpolymer EPDM compound specially formulated for weather applications, offering the highest elongation in the Cerulean EP range at 400% minimum, paired with a soft 60±5 Shore A hardness. This exceptional flexibility, combined with excellent low-temperature properties and unrivalled steam resistance, makes it a strong fit for valves, pumps and automotive components that demand significant stretch without losing sealing integrity.

Cerulean EP 21 properties

ISMAT manufactures Cerulean EP 21 as a 60±5 Shore A terpolymer EPDM, validated through in-house testing to ensure consistent quality across every batch. With an elongation at break of 400% minimum, this is the softest and most stretchable grade in the Cerulean EP lineup, making it ideal for seal geometries that require extensive elongation during installation or operation.

It carries forward the core Cerulean EP strengths — higher resistance to a wide range of ozone and weathering, unrivalled steam resistance and excellent low-temperature properties down to -50°C. That combination of extreme flexibility and environmental resistance makes it dependable for valves, pumps and automotive components operating in demanding outdoor conditions.
