Vertex FC 10 is an innovative fluorocarbon seal (FKM) ideal for high-performance applications. It is designed to resist anti-explosive decompression at low temperatures (GLT) and is particularly suited for O-rings and seals.

Rapid gas decompression (RGD) is a condition in which a sudden pressure release can cause damage in case of internal failure.

The RGD resistance of Vertex FC 10 has been certified to the NORSOK M-710 Edition 3 standard, making it suitable as high-performance fluorocarbon seals. This, combined with other certifications like NACE TM0187-2011 (for use in sour fluid environments) and NACE TM0192-2012 (for use in carbon dioxide decompression environments), makes it ideal for applications in oil and gas, energy, and others where high gas/fluid pressure and low-temperature resistance are required.
