With a Shore D hardness of 85 minimum and tensile strength of 100 MPa minimum, this grade significantly outperforms unfilled PEEK in both tensile and shear strength, making it suitable for high-load engineering applications.

Beyond its mechanical strength, Novum PKC 05 offers good chemical resistance and a lower coefficient of friction, along with a reduced coefficient of thermal expansion that helps maintain dimensional stability across temperature swings. Rated for continuous service at +250°C, it holds up reliably in valve seals, hardware, construction tools and high pressure ball valves.
