About Cerulean C

The Cerulean C series of Chloroprene Rubbers (CR) consists of general purpose materials which can be used across a variety of industries. While they are not exceptional in any single property (compared to other high performance elastomers), their combination of properties is hard for other types to achieve.

What are the benefits of CR?

Chloroprene Rubber, better known in the US and certain other international markets as Neoprene (a Du Pont trademark) has unique properties and characteristics. It can even be blended with other polymers to create combinations with different properties.

Some of the benefits of CR seals include good resistance to ozone, weathering and oils, excellent mechanical properties, good water and chemical resistance and exceptional ageing properties.
